How it works

Three steps. About two minutes.

A "prompt" is just the message you type to the AI. We write the hard part for you.

1

Copy a prompt

Pick the prompt for the job in front of you, like answering a review or planning a sale.

2

Fill in the blanks

Swap the [BRACKETS] for your own details: your business name, your town, your offer.

3

Paste it into AI

Paste it into ChatGPT or any free AI chat tool and press Enter. Not quite right? Just say "make it shorter" or "sound friendlier."

Always read the answer before you use it, because AI can get facts wrong. Never paste in passwords, card numbers, or private customer details.

Every prompt is written for a real small business job, with a "when to use it" line and a beginner tip. These are short excerpts; the full versions are in the pack.

Customers

Reply to a Customer Review

Someone left a review on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or Etsy, whether glowing or grumpy, and you want a reply that sounds professional.

I own a [TYPE OF BUSINESS] called [BUSINESS NAME]. A customer named [FIRST NAME] left this review: "[PASTE THE REVIEW HERE]"

Write a short public reply (under 100 words) that sounds like a real, friendly person, not a big company. Give me 2 versions to choose from.

…full prompt in the Starter Pack

Tip: For a bad review, wait an hour before you post. Future customers will read your reply too.

Marketing

A Month of Social Media Posts

You never know what to post, and you want a whole month planned in one go.

I run a [TYPE OF BUSINESS] called [BUSINESS NAME] in [TOWN/CITY]. My customers are mostly [WHO]. I post on [FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM / TIKTOK].

Create a 30-day social media plan as a simple table: Day, Post idea, Caption (ready to copy), Photo or video idea.

…full prompt in the Starter Pack

Tip: You don't have to post every day. Pick the 12 ideas you like most and post 3 times a week.

Money

Polite Email to a Late-Paying Client

A customer owes you money, the due date has passed, and you want to ask firmly but nicely.

Write a polite but firm email to a client who hasn't paid an invoice.

Client's first name: [NAME] · Invoice number: [NUMBER] · Amount: [AMOUNT] · Original due date: [DATE]

Keep it short and professional. Assume they simply forgot. Give me a subject line too.

…full prompt in the Starter Pack

Tip: Only mention late fees if they were in your original agreement or invoice.

Marketing

Sale or Promotion Announcement

You're running a sale, discount, or special event and want to tell everyone about it.

I'm running a promotion at my [TYPE OF BUSINESS] called [BUSINESS NAME]. The offer: [e.g., 20% off all candles]. Dates: [START] to [END].

Write a social media post, an email, a text message (under 160 characters), and a one-line sign for my counter. Make it exciting but honest.

…full prompt in the Starter Pack

Tip: Post once when it starts and again the day before it ends.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be techy?

Not at all. If you can copy and paste a text message, you can use these. Every prompt is written in plain English, and the blanks show you exactly what to fill in.

Which AI do I use?

Any free AI chat tool works, such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude. The free versions are fine. You don't need a paid plan to get started.

Is it free?

The 15-prompt Starter Pack is free; just enter your email. The full Small Business AI Toolkit is coming soon as a one-time $19 purchase ($14 at launch). The AI tools themselves have free versions.

What if the AI's answer isn't quite right?

Just tell it, like you would a helper: "Make it shorter," "Sound friendlier," or "Give me 3 more options." The Toolkit includes follow-up "fix it" prompts for exactly this.

Is it safe to put my business info into AI?

Share general details like your business type, town, and offer. Never paste passwords, credit card numbers, or private customer details, and use first names only. Always read what the AI writes before you use it.

Will these work for my kind of business?

They're written for everyday small business jobs (reviews, posts, emails, pricing, hiring) that shops, salons, contractors, cafes, solo service pros, and Etsy sellers all handle. You fill in your own details, so the answers fit you.
